Breast Reduction

A Breast Reduction removes excess skin and tissue around the breast. Breast reductions are performed on patients who have excessively large breasts which can cause pain and discomfort. This procedure improves the appearance of the breast by reducing the volume and restoring them to a more natural position.

Breast reductions are performed in our out-patient surgery center and last between 3-4 hours. Patients return home the same day. Recovery time for this procedure can range from 2-4 weeks with some restrictions. Most patients can return to all normal activity after 6 weeks.
