Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure that alters the inner labia (minora) and/or the outer labia (majora) to either reshape them or remove excess skin. Excessive labial skin may simply be part of a woman’s normal anatomy, or it may be the result of enlargement after childbirth. In some cases a labiaplasty can help relieve discomfort that the excess skin may cause. In other situations, the surgery may be purely for aesthetic purposes.
