Liposuction and Body Contouring

Liposuction removes excess fat in various areas of the body such as the abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs, and back. Other areas such as the back, buttocks and arms may also treated with liposuction. This procedure is performed on patients who want to flatten or reduce the appearance of fatty areas on the body.

Liposuction is performed in our out-patient surgery center. The time of the procedure varies depending on the area of the body and how much is to be removed. The patient can return home on the same day as the procedure. Recovery time varies per patient and per area, however we estimate a 2-4 week recovery and up to 4-6 weeks for heavy lifting and exercise.
